Ski Les CarrozSki les carroz

Altitude 1140 - 2120 metres

Les Carroz is linked to the huge Grand Massif (Samoëns, Morillon, Sixt and Flaine) and provides extensive skiing for all levels and no queues. The gondola and chair lift go straight up to the Grand Massif area.

When coming back from Flaine, Les Carroz ski runs are short and offer a wide variety of runs, including difficult sections at the top of the red runs and some great off-piste opportunities.

Beginners will find excellent green runs and nursery slopes from the drag lifts in Les Carroz village. There is a green run at the top of the Kedeuse gondola ‘Mollachets’ and lots of blue runs to move up to.

Intermediates will find a many different tree lined runs to improve and progress on with lots of blues and reds to choose from.

Experts will discover tricky red runs and a few black runs above Les Carroz ski area.

Skiing back to Les Carroz village

To ski back to Les Carroz resort, there are a number of blue runs to the right of the Kedeuse gondola & Moulins chairlift, mostly the ‘Combe’ run. There is also an alternative blue run to the left of Les Carroz ‘Sarbotte’ and a red run ‘Timalets- down to the left corner of the resort.

Kedeuse Gondola

There is loads of parking by the gondola departure. It takes only a few minutes to reach the heart of the Grand Massif ski area from Les Carroz on the 8 seater Kédeuse gondola.

The ski school’s torch-lit descent is not to be missed – it starts off with fireworks and ends with vin chaud and live jazz in the square.
